We Miss You So Much |

This years Run Raised over $5,000! Indeed this was the best Run For Rita yet! What a wonderful tribute to such a wonderful person! Approximately 225 people participated, from as far away England, and California! That is about a 35% increase in the number of participants over last year!

One of the most gratifying parts of this years run was to see Julie Nelson, she was one of the recipients of last years run. It is so wonderful to see how well she is doing and to know all our work has touched people in such a positive way. Rita is smiling big this day!
Thank you for your generous donations and participation in previous Runs for Rita. Together we raised over $12,000 in the last 3 years and have been able to bless a number of people battling leukemia/cancer with generous donations.

The Run for Rita is about sharing memories, supporting each other as family and friends ,and replacing grief with hope. We know that it is called the Run , but we also know that there are many who cannot either run or walk the marked distance. Please don't let that be a barrier to your participating in the charity that the Run supports. All are welcome--family, friends, adults, kids, runners, walkers, standers, and sitters.
